This week we're focusing on our affiliation with the Woodlands Inn. Many of you know that we attend the monthly wine dinners at the Woodlands - some of you have joined us in the past. For the March 17th wine dinner, we are not only attending but hosting the wine service. Ben Arnold (wine distributor) is providing the wines, and Stephane Peltier is coordinating the dinner, so you know it will an extraordinary evening. March Madness is here and so is the Big East Tournament. We'll have our own contest when East meets West and we stack up New World wines (West) vs Old World wines (East). Try some wines from both areas and choose your own winners!

The forecast for Friday is - warm and welcoming with splashes of chardonnay (or sauvignon blanc or pinot noir). Be sure to take advantage of our great weather by sipping a glass or sharing a bottle (also using glasses, of course) on our patio.

WINE TASTING - Sunny Saturday Specials
We start at 2pm with our tastings and continue until 7:30pm - so come and go as you please. We will have 4-5 wines to taste, and tastings are FREE for members and only $5 for non-members. If you'd prefer, we will also have our Wines by-the-glass at our normal great pricing. (where else can you get a VERY GOOD glass of wine for $4?) Cheese plates always available.

BOTTEGA DEL VINO PRESENTATION
At the Atlanta Mart, I had the privilege of drinking wine from a wine glass designed by an Italian company whose motto is "If the wine matters, so does the glass". Drinking wine from this glass is a uniquely "beautiful" experience. Stand this glass up to any Riedel glass (or any other crystal) and there is simply no comparison. We hope to have a representative from Bottega Del Vino do a presentation at a local restaurant, where appetizers, wine and a Bottega wine glass are included in the price of the presentation.
